Things look to have taken a worse in Pakistan after the state of emergency announced in November and the highly volatile election climate in a country at the cusp of violence. Benazir Bhutto was addressing a rally in Rawalpindi where a suicide bomber targeted and killed around 16 people including Bhutto.
Earlier reports, stated Bhutto was unharmed, then Bhutto was in hospital with critical injuries and now both CNN and BBC World News are reporting her death on TV.
What will happen in Pakistan now? How will Musharraf handle the country and with Al Qaeda’s targeting of Pakistan as a breeding ground, are we at a turning point in this nuclear power?
